why do we say "don't create any politics" when we refer to some chaos or confusion..
Y have people made this word sound synonomous to confusion. Is that why it is so tough for many people to understand the politics created by "Mr/Ms. confuscious"'s????? What are the politicians gaining by intimidating 'sensible' people away from their arena? If someone asked me the about the last time I voted, neither am I able to recall the name of the people who stood for the big POSTS like CM/PM nor can I hardly recall the local politician's name for whom I voted for.
Most of them enter politics to find themselves a PROFESSION, some jump in to keep up the Family name...(roobha notela sirikudhu...kudumba peru...lol), some for popularity.......n what the hell.. where are the people who enter politics to SERVE people????
well to be frank, Educated people in India treat the Election date as a "HOLIDAY" and stay back home for all the special news bulletin or the FIRST time telecasted movies, people who are young vote for being the FIRST timer ;-) , people who are old are either helpless to go alone or if they do take their efforts to go and find out after standing in the queue that they have been officially "dead" in the voting list or their GHOST twin has already casted the vote...lol....and the UNEDUCATED lot is exploited for all the cheap alcohols or the WATER carriers of 'SARAVANA'S', last but not the least :NRI... NOT RESPONSIBLE for any politics happ in INDIA
all this should change.. and wht am i doing for this instead of VETTI-ly blogging....hmmm least ppl who read this will think a min or two about it.. that's the effort I could do... and maybe the NRI's would look into their "local" newspapers on the net to confirm their memory on the present CM and PM's names.... (let me do a google before someone asks me in comments section ...:-P)

ida padicha i can remember only 2004 general elections when inspite of enrolling my name wasnt there, angaii poi oru ragalai create pannan, screamed the the local councilor etc, and finally got to vote!! partha en per list la irukku, reserved for kalla vote!!
but rather than educated, pollambaratha pazaka poichu, they dont enter politics and let the rowdies\goondas enter and then bitch, its high time they enter,
wat u say bout the NRI atleast in west is true, gulf NRI contribute to the india economy atleasttat they r able to do, most notably concin air port, annal NRIs ellam they have a general disragard for india i think (blog pannaravango ellam care but i am generalising), NRI i think shud look at investing in india, and develop india, following the footsteps of the expat chinese
politics is full of politics... too dangerous for any commoners to enter, or even mildly be involved in... this is where the problems lie...so u done the google yet... ;)
anyway...I sincerely vote myself from the day i was 18..Only one thing that I can do for country...it our right and duty and why ignore it?
so I vote for the better of the crap and only after thought is to watch the ink in my hand fading away...

Well...corruption was proclaimed victorious firstly after the eductaed stayed away from it...by staying ignorant by choice!....politics is termed synonomous to corrpution more than confusion...so to stay away from it and watch it from miles away is sin...instead..at the least think abt doin something...!

I find it difficult to read about NRI's being described the way you have done it. Its ok, Its your feelings. I would like to say, that not NRI's are like that, including myself.

Bad - voters age should be minimum 18 and still they allowed me to vote

I did not mean to hurt the NRI's here. It is just that our life style is too busy that most of us.. do not keep track of the political changes in india or least it is so rapid that we are not able to keep up with it. Also we NRI's cant make much contribution to the POLITICAL changes of india was my statement and not about financial contributions as vatsan had commented.
Well, the whole idea of the blog was not to hurt people's feelings but least to remind people that they should update themselves with the happenings in india and also educated people like all of us should try to change things for bettr rather than staying back at home on election days

it is a great tradition of our school, unless they pizzas and drinks free, they dont turn up for anything.
I think we shud look at attracting the middle class people who often stay away from voting booths. All free pizzas n stuff will only attract the lower class, who anyway get some free stuff to blindly punch something. Juz like u get pissed off if some blady guy urinates on ur house wall, you shud be pissed off with our political system stinkin as bad, and have a shout...Lets make things better :)
