Ennavendru sollavadhu......

How much does the first impression influence a relationship? What if the person you judged by the appearance made you the WORSSSSTTTTT judge on the face of earth????????

Does this happen to all of you out there???

Why do we have to judge someone just by looking at them without giving them the oppurtunity to make us find out what they really are?

This maybe something which can influence a lot of relationships...like friendship @ any place.... relationships with employers/employees.....future TBD relationships....
Have we ever thought about the possible "good" people we might have missed becoz of the above mistake?????

Ada... idhellam idunga pa... naaama ellam indha bloggin panrom.. how many of us.. treat the people V meet daily with the same polite talk u do when u chat with ur fellow blogger??????????

welll.... the reason... for this post is... while travelling.. I was tooo bored....became restless... and ended up looking at people and was wondering what kind of a person each of my co-passengers might be... adhaaan indha vetti post........

On the contrary.. we end up spending valuable time of our lives with people....which we might end up discovering... it was WORTHless....moments in our lives........

wht the hell.."life is to live.. live it to the fullest" :-)

(appaaada mudikka oru line from the head line..hehehehee..).....ungalidam irundhu vidai peruvadhu...

tata na udane thaan indha thatha ku strike aachu...

there are 6 billion ppl in this world, so u cant possibly judge n talk to everyone.. wht u can do however, is to make the best out of whatever relationships u can develop with those few u meet. I wudnt care a damn abt every kuppan and suppan i see everyday, but the bloggers who i go to has interested me in some way, otherwise i wudnt bother :P

dont worry abt the past if u dont wanna repent for ur present in the future :P

Believe me, I've read about this and heard it from a lot of people. It would help a person really if he/she can stop being Judgemental ( by looks, voice, etc..etc even kulam/kothram). But then it is extremely difficult to practise.

By the way Sukku are you in the US now??

Comment by Sriram on 4:23 PM

One way to deal with that is what Mr.Venkittu says. Try not to judge people. Another way is not to second gues yourself. If its done, its done. There's no point in worrying about it. You made the decision and so, don't repent! Move on.

Hope this helps. :)

This apart, there are a lot of situations, where the chaps, were exactly what we judged, and over a short period, turned into diametrically opposite characters! Juz closely think of some of the folks with whom u have a bit long relationship.

The best thing should be to not make judgements the very first time we talk/meet/see someone; if we HAVE to, then make it a positive one to start off with. Agreed, positive or negative, we would definitely develop impressions about any one we know, over a period of time. Some ppl that I thought were ABC's initially, turned out to be XYZ's after further interactions and vice-versa. So, at first, we should give the benefit of the doubt to the other person, and generally have a "positive first" impression of them, and then let time decide to support or counter that eventually!

Comment by Vinesh on 7:31 PM

I always judge people (automatically) the minute I see them. But in most cases, my judgement happens to be wrong! I guess we cannot avoid this. But with time, I have learnt not to let this judgement be a major barrier between me and this stranger.

never knew you started blogging again. good to see you back.

If I misjudge a person on my first impression and prefer not to mingle with them. I dont think I'll have the same feelings as being close to a person for many years and then nazhuvi pona uravu. After all not all relationships last the lifetime without any gaps in between.

how many of us.. treat the people V meet daily with the same polite talk u do when u chat with ur fellow blogger?

@ narayanan (venkitu) sir: Yes iam in US.
-----------------------------------
@ sriram : it is rare a person can control this tendency of judgements. I think this was also medically proven ... that within the first 2 or 20 secs u form an impression about anything/person you see....

well am also trying to point to ppl whom we judge without seeing... maybe by talking on phone or maybe by seeing their photos or maybe chattin with thm...
-----------------------------------
@ TJ : well I have had such exp only for the betterment of relationshp..for me they have always become better......for good.....
---------------------------------
@ Blogger anonymous : my arguement is why do we need to judge someone at first without getting to know them?? Positive or negative is not the criteria..

ABC ( is it ABCD??) seri.. and I knw EFGH...wht on earth is xyz????
----------------------------------
@ vinesh : exaaaaaaaclty....judgements shld not b a barrier is the logic analysis..but does your mind rule your heart??
